RDF Schemas and Namespaces

• mysql (recommended namespace prefix: "mysql")

  A dynamic namespace to generate web identifiers (URIs) for MySQL functions.

• image-regions (recommended namespace prefix: "imreg")

  RDFS + OWL version of the 'parts of image' vocabulary that was originally created for the 2004 w3photo project. Documentation, esp. for the coords property, is still availabe at development server

• opensocial (recommended namespace prefix: "osoc")

  OpenSocial is an effort to standardize basic interactions between social networking sites. The OpenSocial specification is built around a JavaScript API, but it also defines a core set of typical data fields.

  OpenSocial/RDF is an RDF version of these data elements. (And with Portable Contacts using OpenSocial terms as well, we get a Portable Contacts RDF Schema for free.)

  OpenSocial/RDF can be used to enable and prepare requests to/from OpenSocial Containers, but also as a rich vocabulary for RDF-based social networking systems.
